About Us

Roastery Coffee House

ROASTERY COFFEE HOUSE FINLAND was born from a friendship between Indian and Finnish coffee lovers, with the mutual desire to showcase the best of Indian coffee and food culture as well as art, fashion and design.

Our intention is to unite the best of both worlds – the Finnish appreciation for simplicity, quality of life and great coffee with the rich Indian artisanal tradition of coffee manufacturing, brewing and warm hospitality where each guest feels like royalty.

To us, Roastery Coffee House represents joy of life, daily moments of stillness and culinary enjoyment, happy and vibrant aesthetics as well as skilful and carefully selected Indian handicrafts.

We want to ensure a memorable experience and a dip into the warmth of Indian culture to each of our customers.

ROASTERY COFFEE HOUSE

India is the source of some of the best coffees in the world and we have been handpicking the best available coffee from India to be served in Finland. Roastery Coffee House was founded by Nishant Sinha in 2017 with one goal: to create great and consistent coffee, and share it with as many people as possible. Roastery has become one of the leading specialty coffee brands in India, winning the hearts of customers with its unique roasts and flavour palette. Year 2023 marks a special year for us as the launch of our brand in the Finnish market. Our intention is to unite the best of both worlds – the Finnish appreciation for simplicity, quality of life and great coffee with the rich Indian artisanal tradition of coffee manufacturing, brewing and warm hospitality where each guest feels like royalty. All of our coffees are scoring 86* points and more: they are fresh in season and roasted to perfection. As we have grown and changed over the years, we at Roastery found new ways to share flavour and connect with communities across India.

HARVEST

Our coffees offer a feast to your taste buds, bringing the exotic flavours of South India to your cup. Whether you wish to start your day with our nutty and spicy Monsoon Malabar or freshen your afternoon with Baarbara roast’s burst of stewed apple and pineapple, you will feel the warmth of Indian sun with each sip. We source our coffee from sustainable farms, closely monitoring the quality of the beans and the farming processes to ensure that no harmful chemicals or pesticides are being used. We see our farmers as a part of big family, believing that prioritising the happiness of the people we work with will also contribute to the superior quality of the product. We are continuously experimenting with new processing technologies to step up the quality of our coffee each year. To us, coffee stands for innovation and creativity.

JOURNAL

Did you know that coffee has been produced in India ever since the 17th century? Monsoon Malabar, one of our most exclusive roasts, dates back to the British Raj when coffee used to travel across the sea from India to Europe. Now, India is the leading producer of specialty coffees and the only producer of Monsoon Malabar. Coffee is a cornerstone of Indian culture and many families in South India still grow their own coffee trees and brew homemade coffee.
